Barnaby Marshall
Barnaby Marshall is a writer, editor and technology developer with more than 25 years of experience in the field of digital media. He is the founder, CEO & Editor-in-Chief of RockPeaks, a next-generation website devoted to organizing and streaming live music performance video from around the web and around the globe. Barnaby was born in London England, and educated at U of T’s Trinity College, graduating in 1991 with a degree in English and Philosophy. A computer enthusiast since his father brought home an Atari 400 for Christmas, 1980, Barnaby has worked in media production for more than 15 years, spanning the fields of television production, website development, and print journalism. From 1996 to 2000 he ran Shift Magazine’s online department, while the current century has seen him and his wife and partner, Carmen Dunjko, form Pod 10 Art + Design and tackle projects such as Toronto’s Drake Hotel (strategy, branding, positioning, technical infrastructure and staff training) Soulpepper Theatre and the Young Centre for the Performing Arts. His knowledge of technology has led him to be a media commentator on TV and radio, and he has moderated and appeared on a variety of industry symposia, panels, and festivals.
