How Mediazoic Works

The Mediazoic software allows you to broadcast the music you’re listening to on your computer in real time over the Internet. The software is set up once on the broadcaster’s computer, and works automatically in the background. The listener does not need our software to enjoy the broadcast. By simply clicking on a dynamic link based in a browser page or status message, the Mediazoic “stage” is displayed and the stream starts playing in the listener’s default media player. Information about the song playing (ie., where to buy, artist info, etc) is also automatically displayed to the listener while s/he is listening.

In short, you can have your own live Internet radio station without having to upload music anywhere, choose a particular player, be a part of any music locker service, or have to learn any new software. Our system logs each time a song is heard, ensuring that royalties may be paid to all rights holders, so by supporting Mediazoic, you are helping support the continued health and vitality of the music business.
